GENERAL LIABILITY COVERAGES

General Liability, also known as Business Liability insurance, protects your business in the event of physical injury or property damage that may occur to others as a result of your business operations.

Basic coverage options can include:

  • Bodily Injury: Includes bodily harm, sickness, or disease, including resulting death.
  • Property Damage Liability: Physical injury to tangible property, including resulting loss of use and loss of use of tangible property that has not been physically injured.
  • Personal Injury: Insurable offenses that produce harm (other than bodily injury); personal injury (i.e. false arrest, detention or imprisonment); malicious prosecution; wrongful eviction; slander; libel; and invasion of privacy.
  • Advertising Injury: Insures the following offenses in connection with the insured’s advertising of its goods or services—libel, slander, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement and misappropriation of advertising ideas.
  • Medical Payments: General liability coverage that reimburses others, without regard to the insured’s liability, for medical or funeral expenses as a result of bodily injury or death sustained by accident.
  • Fire Legal Liability: Coverage of a tenant’s liability for damage by fire to the rented premises the tenant occupies.
  • Products Completed Operations: Coverage for liability arising out of the insured’s products or business operations conducted away from the insured’s premises once those operations have been completed or abandoned.

PROPERTY COVERAGES

Property coverage insures business assets, covers replacement costs and provides cash flow to help you get back up and running after a loss. This important insurance coverage goes the extra mile to safeguard your business assets and income.
